Digital CPD Journal/Record for Australian Psychologists

If you’ve seen my other project – CPD Workbooks, you’ll know that I have an interest in how Australian Psychologists record their professional development activities.

I can’t say I really know where that interest emerged from, but I’ve remained curious about whether it is possible to make the process of recording our learning more than just an administrative exercise.

For the past couple of years, I have been refining my own method for recording my ongoing professional learning and development. The method utilises Google Docs (any word processing program will do), cloud access, a structured heading system and a guided set of self-reflection questions to build a ‘story’ of one’s professional development over the year. The idea is that anyone reading your professional development record could actually get a nuanced sense of your learning journey over the year.

I am now sharing that method via a Google Doc. I continue to work on it and refine it. If you find it helpful, let me know. If you can see room for improvement, also let me know.
